MYTH: You Must birth at home to have a doula. A doula is trained to support a woman if she is birthing at home, in a childbirth center or in a hospital.

MYTH:  A doula won't allow you to have medication during labor.  As a doula my top priority is to help you have the labor you want.

FACT: Women who labor with the support of a doula have an easier more relaxed birthing experience. 

 That studies have shown  a Woman who is supported by a Doula and her partner have lower Cesarean rates and a lower rate of Epidurals.

Mothers who have labored with the support of a Doula have a higher breastfeeding success rate.
